Les saisons à Paris

Hi everyone! Today I want to share a project I made for my sister's birthday...

But first, I want to show you the matching card I made:

I inked the background using distress inks and used some Hero Arts stamps....

And here's the canvas:

I'm happy how it turned out. I used some Gesso and structure paint for the background. I used some acrylic paints....also I added some stamps from Hero Arts. For the middle, I took a post card which I had from a trip to Paris ;)

I thought I'd take a photo of both of my projects together:

My sister can't wait to hang this in her room... ;)

Thanks for visiting!

10 Minute Craft Dash #12

Hi everyone! Today, I want to share another 10 Minute Craft Dash project..it took me 9 minutes and 57 seconds to make this tag. So, if you want to play as well, visit Paulina's blog.
This is the stunning color palette you're supposed to use:
I don't know about you guys, but I loooove this combo!!!

Here's my tag using these colors:

The stamp set is from Paper Smooches, I like this artsy set :)

So, this is your challenge! Create a card with the color palette above and link it up on Paulina's blog. Oh, and you have 10 minutes to make your project, so make sure to have all your crafting supplies ready.
PS. What's a challenge without a prize? The sponsor is none other than Kim from Paper Smooches! In fact, some of the PS team will have some cards too.... and there will be a video too! Yay :D

Calender {part 2}

Happy New Years Eve to you all!! :D hope you enjoy all the celebrations....
As promised, here is part 2 of my calendar, if you didn't see the first part, take a look at yesterday's post.
I'm entering it again for this challenge:

So, here's July - December:

Who doesn't love BBQ in the summer?? Well, this stamp is from Unity. It's called Retro BBQ, but I'm not sure.

I love this flip-flop die from Lil'Inker Designs....

I really like the autumn colors, especially the leaves :) These stamps are from the craft's meow.

My friend's birthday is in October, so I thought she'd like this. The die is again from Lil'Inker Designs. After cutting out the balloons, I colored them using Copics and then I drew the strings.

As soon as I saw this background paper, I HAD to use it. As it often snows in November, I thought this snowflake from Lil' Inker Designs would look nice.

And, last but not least, December is here! This die is from Memory Box. To make the wreath pop, I added some gold liquid pearls.

Hope you liked my first handmade calendar! I hope you all have a wonderful 2013!!!

Calender {part 1}

Hello everybody! As there are only 2 days left of this year, I wanted to share something special with you all...my first handmade calendar!!I think giving calendars as a gift is a wonderful way to celebrate and start the new year :)
I'm entering my calender for this challenge:
- Sunshine Creations #4: Season's Greetings - As I mentioned above, calendars are perfect to celebrate New Year

So...here's part 1 of my calendar

The stamps here are from Lawn Fawn "Making Frosty Friends".

Here in Switzerland, there's a festival called "Fasnacht" where you wear a costume. I used the hat from "Making Frosty Friends" and the racoon is from "Critter in the Forest", Lawn Fawn. The mustache is from a itty bitty set from Unity.
Who doesn't love the first flowers in springtime? The stamps are from PTI. One of them is called "Year of Flowers".

April Showers :) I used dies from Lil'Inker Designs...I love the stitched effect on the cloud!

I cut the bird with a die from Memory Box, the music notes are from Lawn Fawn.

And the last for today....a bright, flowery June :) These dies are from Lil'Inker Designs as well.

Hope you liked my first part of the calendar. Don't forget to look by tomorrow if you'd like to see part 2! Have a nice day and thank you for visiting my blog!!

Bookmark set

Hi everyone! It is getting grey outside and the leaves are starting to change their colors....I really like that, it sure is pretty ;) I made a set of bookmarks for this challenge:
- Paper Smooches Sparks Picture Perfect Challenge:I like how the three yellow birds are sitting on the white....

My take on the inspiration picture:

I tried to keep a continuity with the faux stitching.... I used the "Gently Seasoned"set from Paper Smooches.
Thanks for dropping by! :)

Stamps coming to life...

Well, not really, but I'm coming back to that later. First, I want to share some exciting news with you all: I got accepted at my school of choice! Can't wait till August when the term will start...lol ;)
My project which I'm sharing today is for this challenge:

 - Lawnscaping Challenges: Use dimension - I thought it would be cool to make a dimensional project (yes, I know that a card has a dimension too but you know what I mean), so I made a little purse.

And here's my purse:

Here are more views:

But that's not all! As you can see in the first picture, I popped only the turtle with 3D foam, but to make it even more special and dimensional, look what's beneath all the blue paper:

Isn't this little guy adorable? It's as if the turtle stamp has come to life, hence the title :) I really enjoyed making both, the purse and the turtle, the stamp set is from Lawn Fawn, Critters in The Sea. Thanks for stopping by! (:
